Our instructors all have teaching experience at college level and hold at least a Master degree, if not, a Doctoral degree on the course subjects they teach here at EDNova Academy.
  • Students who would like to be considered admission to the Academy should committee to our 36-week program. We do not accept on-and-off attendance. No exceptions will be made. If continual attendance is not possible for your student, then our program is not a good fit for your student’s need.
  • EDNova Academy aims to provide rigorous STEM curricula that challenge our students to reason analytically, think creatively, and argue critically. Our supportive environment fosters independence, strength of character, and a lifelong pursuit of knowledge. We strive to provide our students with an extraordinary education. We realize there are many companies out there that do tutoring services. Students who are looking to catch up with school work are advised to consider those establishments.
  • Since all our courses follow a rigorous curriculum that spans continuously from late August 2016 to mid June 2017. Skipping classes may result in missing crucial building blocks to the next concept. Thus, our academy discourages missing more than one lesson per month. We do, however, understand that at times absences cannot be avoided. Therefore, we do provide one free makeup session per month if your student needs to be absent from class. All missed lessons must be made up within one week from the day of absence. On top of the one free make up session, students can choose to make up missing materials on their own or request a make-up session with us at $35/session. There is no refund for missed classes.
  • EDNova Academy takes your student’s learning very seriously. Students who missed substantial number of classes and are not willing to make up missing materials will result in dismissal from the Academy. This is to ensure your student will never be dragged back by habitual absentees and unmotivated students. We strive to cultivate a positive nurturing environment that is highly effective so your student will receive the best learning experience, hence, the most productive results.
  • EDNova Academy caps enrollment for each class at 12 students. No exceptions will be made. However, we do carry a wait list for students who are interested in joining us. If we have 5 students on the wait list, we will open a new class for that course.
  • Punctuality and good conduct are highly observed at the Academy. Interruptions due to late arrivals or bad conducts are extremely distracting, disrupting, and disrespectful to both the instructors and their fellow classmates. Habitually tardiness and misconducts may result in dismissal from the Academy.
  • EDNova Academy does not provide afterschool care program except for students who are affiliated with Challenge School on Wednesdays & Fridays. EDNova Academy students should not arrive more than 15 minutes before class commences and have to be picked up or sign themselves out within 15 minutes after class dismissal.
